The inspirational, interactive careers event for young people in the Tees Valley.

Skill Up Tees Valley aims to inspire and motivate young people to take up skills based training and career paths, by providing an innovative, lively, fun event with a focus on 'having a go' at a wide range of skills based activities. 

This unique interactive event will expose young people to the wide range of exciting skills based job opportunities available in the Tees Valley through practical demonstrations and expert signposting and advice in a lively interactive and entertaining environment.

Skill Up Tees Valley is designed to raise aspirations and inspire local people to engage with local education, training and employment providers through a unique combination of: 

• Opportunities to experience and 'have a go' at a wide range of vocational skill activities
• Demonstrations of skills excellence across a wide range of occupational skills
• Expert tailored advice about training opportunities from colleges and training providers and also from employers through their apprenticeships and other in-house training schemes
• Information about self employment and business start up advice
• A lively and enjoyable physical environment aimed at making skills based careers as exciting and accessible as possible
